For example, Nathalie Lans visited the Volwassenenfonds Sport & Cultuur (Adult Fund for Sports & Culture) that, together with Fonds Schiedam Schiedam Vlaardingen e.o. enables over-18s with low incomes to receive financial compensation for exercising.
A wonderful initiative, because sport serves multiple purposes. Not only does it contribute to a healthier lifestyle, it also increases your social network. Fortunately, in this age of individualism, there are more such beautiful initiatives that protect people from loneliness and isolation.
For example, meeting center De Werf has long been a second living room for residents of Schiedam Kethel. Here too Nathalie was allowed to talk to enthusiastic volunteers who make a difference in our society.
